A Vision of True Belonging

"Every person — regardless of ability — deserves a community where they are known, valued, and supported to live their best life."

Our Mission Statement

A Place for Rodney Living Solutions exists to provide person-centered, Home and Community-Based Services that create true belonging and support lasting independence for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

We partner with individuals, families, and communities to deliver safe, compassionate, and professional supports in home and community settings. Inspired by Rodney's legacy, we strive to honor each person's dignity, voice, and choices — helping them build meaningful lives, strong relationships, and greater control over their daily living.

Who We Are

Founded by Vickie M. Richard

A Place for Rodney Living Solutions was named in honor of Rodney, the son of founder Vickie M. Richard. Rodney's life, gifts, and support needs became the inspiration behind Vickie's lifelong passion for serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

For over 20 years, Vickie has worked as a Host Home Provider, offering direct support, guidance, and care to individuals with IDD. Through both personal and professional experience, she has developed a deep commitment to helping individuals live in safe, supportive, and respectful environments.
